New Film! And a Slide Duplicator cutting!
Argh! no updates in october! I guess these stupid exams are distracting me too much from my projects! uff! I had very little time but found some to cut an old panagor slide duplicator:
The idea is to use it as a Super8mm duplicator. So I decided to open it up in the read (just under the white glass) so I can insert the film when I need it:

And today my second 16mm film arrived: Young Frankenstein!
I also brought Stagedoor canteen in super 8mm, but this is another story…

Dremel drug!

3.3 x 4.5
I found in a closed a slide film duplicator. Since I was struggling to photograph some 8mm frames for my title project, I had the idea to utilize the duplicator to digitalize the frame.
The results are really stunning! Using AL’s Nikon D40 I can get (almost) all the information on the frame! And it is only 3.3mm x 4.5mm a regular 8mm!

Film!
A quick note: Today arrived the films from Andec! it was mostly 100D in Super8 and Regular8. The film is beautiful, colors are incredible. I no more miss K40!

Slides from the LCD
I have been sick for a couple days so today, out of the general boredom (tooo much study!) I made some tests to see how well comes an LCD screen photographed from a 35mm SRL. Here is the setup:
